My Coolshirt shirt is over 10 years old, so like Mahler9th suggests Coolshirt likely changed their tubing, fitting and / or manifold design. I have tested them back to back and the old less expensive coolshirt shirt keeps me way cooler / more comfortable than the Traqgear shirt and via several flow tests has about twice the flow rate using the exact same cooler, connection hose and water level.

I get good results out of the coolshirts and the traqgear shirt that I have but the Coolaclava is one of the best pieces of kit I've ever purchased. It's a bit temperamental and will kink and shut off all cooling if you aren't careful when putting it on but when it's working well it's like night and day when it's really hot.
