Rennsport Results 2018
Anyone know the difference between the weisach cup, gmund cup and flacht cup? (PCA and the Studgart group are self explanatory.)

Racing Rennsport was a real hoot. Great battle in the SPBs. First time I’ve ever seen a DP car in PCA Club Racing.

Between Weisach and Flacht groups, where would my 928 fit if i didnt run in PCA? the car did have a bunch of pro starts , so i was thinking it might be eligible, plus it's not a common Porsche race car as well
Im thinking the Flacht cup is only for "cup"cars, factory produced race cars. so maybe Weisach?
thanks

No 919 track record for Laguna I guess? Though the announcers were cagey as to whether Porsche was really going for a record run, they sure seemed to be trying hard for not really trying. They changed tires I think 3 times in 30 mins and even changed drivers late in the session, but didn’t appear able to get the car sorted on Sunday.

Mark, unless your car was accepted into the Club Racing group, it would not have been eligible for the other groups. Just the way RR goes...
I wonder if the 919 is sticking around and running tomorrow?

I started 8 spots back and the 3rd E car. Fought thru with help of double yellow restack. Finally caught leader with 3 laps to go.
Last lap pass for the E win (with help from a cup car), I cooked it in t10, then lost it at the line to Martinson by 0.038 seconds.

I'm impressed how tight you were on T11. Any thought that staying wider into 11 might have helped?

MY car #154 qualified 19th for the race but spun a bearing in practice Sunday morning. We still had a great time.
