HSR is happy to accommodate any car. The newer cars just aren't eligible to win or get trophies. It's mainly a practice event for them. The more the merrier.

Unfortunately, the 911 R won't make it as we ran into problems with the new engine on Thursday that will take a bit longer to fix. Switching to the Cayman.

We were rushing to build a killer engine for the 911 and just couldn’t finish it on time. Tested on Thursday, found some possible oiling issues Rather than possibly melting the engine at Daytona, switched to the Cayman. I’m very disappointed but still appreciative of being able to go at all.

That's ok, Frank. The new engine is an investment in time and money that should pay back enjoyment for a long time. Good luck with the Cayman! Fast group!

Great event - I'll be back next year!

Last lap, last stint. Toughest part was not crashing the car at pit-in. Several other cars behind me did not make it.
