I don't think I can/should give details, but a very close friend had a similar thing happen to him. Different Porsche dealership, and different people, but same end result. Money gone, no car. Be careful out there.

I followed this story over on the GT forum. Crazy! I think it's hard to disappear in today's world especially with a few million bucks. I'm sure they'll catch the guy.

Guy was an officer of the dealership and had authority to transact on their behalf. A first year law student should be able to hold the dealership liable for the loss.
