Will be going in yellow group in a black cayman with a friend in an identical car

We were originally booked in Seneca but moved to Horseheads because of the water advisory

I’m #274 981 cayman s. Last year they grouped yellow with blue, but with only 11 greens listed in clubreg, I’m guessing they’ll group yellow with green and blue with white?

I'm gonna book in Horseheads as well. Not crazy about these water "alerts" in Dix.
Where in Horseheads is a good place to stay? (I usually stay at The Seneca, The Falls, or The Harbor if the wife is accompanying me..which, for this event, she is not).
I'll be in a racing yellow 981S with black and red striping bumper to bumper. #694.
Black Ford F-150 Tow Vehicle, open Trailex.
Running in Blue Solo I think.
Don't want to jinx anything, but the extended forecast looks pretty stellar all 3 days. (I know I know, it's 6 days away..)
This is my first event at a Metro DE. Do they normally send out a "Track Pack" for each event? (Schedule, run groups, etc.)
I couldn't find anything on the website as of this morning. Thanks....

There's a Candlewood Suites right next to Outback near the mall, also a Hilton (I think) a bit down the road. Also, every chain restaurant known to man

Hate to dampen things (no pun intended) but I just saw that as of y-day there was still a "boil-water" order for W. Glen and Schuyler County--I'd contact Metro PCA and/or the track just to be sure.

I'm worried about Labor Day when I'm tentatively gonna be there

I’ll be there as well with an NNJR bud or three.
Why not just drive from MO to WG and make both days?

Nah, that's a bit much.

I actually like to take a little time after an event to look over my notes--see/think about what I did well and not so well, think about how I can improve the not-so-well, reflect on what a good time I invariably had (though I have been told that I approach this "hobby" like it's my job ). Plus I usually need tires flipped or replaced anyway

Quality over quantity, always, though I sure can't complain about the quantity I'm fortunate enough to be able to do!

This is our first time on the track in 2018. Upgraded our 1983 Porsche 944 2.5L NA with ANZE shocks, High Strung 44 lower control A arms,. Porsche front and rear sway bars (removed the aftermarket sway bars), and 8 inch wide all square wheels. The race car was understeering, so radical suspension modifications were needed. Friday is test day to dial in the race car.
The car is black with German flag colors stripping and #831 and 833 on the car.
