Also offering a reuseable kit. Good for up to 25 applications.
$50.00 each kit, includes one (1) roll of white duct tape and one (1) black Sharpie.
Please send me 4 kits. I'd like one for the Friday fun races, and one designed for race day. Car is red, so appropriate color is required as long as it's white with black writing utensil. I'd like to pay via letter of credit. Tax exempt. ITAR restricted. ISO900 required.

I found a kit at Staples - who would have thought they sold racing supplies?!

Frank 993 C4S: "Actually, it’s as easy as giving Susan Shire a call: pcaclubrace@aol.com. I’m sure people would be honored to share the track with you."

Nizer: " I'm sure there's an easy solution. Just send a note to Bryan Henderson, head of Club Racing, and explain the situation. PM'd you his email address. Just try not to embarrass too many of us while running with the X on your bumper."

Thanks guys. I did what you suggested and found that there is a "third route" to getting a license, but it's not published. They asked what races I've competed in and when I did them. Now they'll look at my application and discuss with the race committee what I'll have to do next. At least their answer wasn't "No".

I'm selling these for $50. Less a 5% discount for PCA members.

I will include a 4" Roebling Road Raceway sticker, in black...on a white background.

Just got the answer from PCA. My application was turned down. I was not given any credit for my prior racing experience. I'll have to start from scratch and do 12 or more track days (6 PCA DE), then get a certification from our local PCA's chief driving instructor describing my high speed driving ability, ability to drive without an instructor and my general courtesy and general awareness at all times while on track. Then it will be determined if I am permitted to attend the PCA racing school.

I think PCA's take is they want to put their own eyeballs on folks and see if they are the type of racer that fits into their vision of a Club Racer.

For the most part its a gentlemans/womens group who do it for the love of cars, racing, and camaraderie, not necessarily for the competitive nature.

That being said -- if you display competency and proper attitude at some track days -- you're likely to have an accelerated schedule.

Mike
