Home Grand Prix can be a curse. Look at Hamster's last race. I think I'll go with Stroll

Ferrari had some interesting tactics that last race, that's why Lewis didn't win, didn't you hear?

Short relatively tight track.

Good for Red Bull cars, but Mercedes still mighty.
Vettel is at home, but we will see how the Ferrari does at Hockenheimring.

So verstappen, Hamilton and Vettel podium.
Unless they (Verstappen) crashes them out.

If Red Bull’s are in a good position my money is on Ricciardo. Verstappen will do Verstappen things.

SB has never won here so I think he is going to go FTW. Hammy just signed his contract so he will be on the attack and feeling buoyant.

Ricciardo will start at the back of the grid due to components changed in his engine and the penalties that go along with that...

Would like to see DR at the top but won't happen from 20th (probably). Verstappen looks quick as well.

It wasn't clear to me from FP2 but will VER require a gearbox swap?

I'm watching FP3 and there is a rumor that HAM is ill.

I'm guessing he just started his period.

Suspect qualifying would've been razor thin had Hamilton stayed in based on Bottas' lap. Looks like Seb's race to lose tomorrow given Ferrari's strength off the line.

Meanwhile the Hamster machinations continue....

https://www.grandprix247.com/2018/07...nterview-team/

"Lewis Hamilton seems to still harbour a grudge against former Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg who defeated him in a hard-fought and often bitter 2016 Formula 1 World Championship, Bild report that the Briton lobbied for Nico Rosberg to be axed as one of the post-race interviewers at Hockenheim."

Oh missed that! Oh well, officially I voted for Vettel, looks like his race at this point.

Posted this under the Lewis contract thread -

I guess for all of us who were questioning the amount Mercedes paid Lewis he made us all STFU. That being said, did he really win only because of team orders? Bottas looked to have the faster car in the closing laps.
