Default Goodwood Porsche on Porsche carnage

Any thoughts? Sun in his eyes? Texting? Posting his successful hillclimb to Instagram?

Probably just not expecting the 962 to be going (relatively) slowly. It can happen.

Yeah, the speed differential was noticeable. 962 was on a parade lap while the 911 was at full pace. 911 crossed the finish line flat-out and then immediately had to get on the brakes and simply ran out of room to slow down because the 962 driver was driving too slow. Honestly the starters probably should have done better at separating them off the start line.

I've never understood Goodwood FoS. Obviously some cars are just doing demo/parade runs, but aren't some of them actually competing?

962 driver reminds me of half the field when a checker is thrown - keep f-ing moving! Don't you want to keep heat in your tires and get an accurate pressure reading?!

They have separate groups for timed runs and demonstration. This occurred during the demonstration/parade runs.
