no, the amount of overrev is less do to lower rear wheel forces acting on the mishifted engine due to a lower Mu of wet grass.

Thanks! I do feel younger when I drive fast on track but not so much when sliding uncontrollably off the paved surface.

I over-revved an engine once. I did notice feeling somewhat older afterward, and was poorer as well. The car did not have an aluminum flywheel, though, so perhaps that is a topic for a different thread!
