Boost needs to be managed and if the system is conceptually the same as for the 918, the driver needs to hit a button to get boost, then its pre-staged and can be used together with putting down the loud pedal. So probably hitting the button mid corner so that boost is available post apex.

..both : the 919 V4 has primary turbos (2X) that boost (traditional turbo usage) the intake charge, and then, secondary turbos that turns generator that reloads batteries, so : always plenty of electric energy for acceleration !

Yes, Alexander is a genius, after the Red Bull F1, what he did at Porsche with the 919, was most probably the best of all cars to date !

If it was good enough to set world records around the world it should be good enough for the street car. They can even retain the racing derived moniker.
