When i put my 3m coating on the installer said if you are doing track days to use meguiars wax before and it will make it easier to take any rubber off.

The R3 makes it effortless though. I'm still in awe at the difference.
I posted a picture of a big splash of rubber on my fender over the weekend. That was the first spot I hit with the R3 as I knew it was a doozie and wanted to see how much easier it would be with the new stuff.
I sprayed it on and, maybe 5 seconds later, wiped my cloth over it and IT WAS GONE! And I didn't scrub or wipe with any effort. I wiped it off the same way I'd have dried off a splash of water.
Seriously... if you've never tried it and are even the least bit annoyed at getting track rubber off, go buy some. You won't regret it.

Griots
I use Griot's Track Spray. It is amazing how easy it gets rubber off of your car. I have expel on my car and I have had on issues. I even use it my wheels to get rubber off of them just don't spray on center cap.

It didn't need anything more. "Easier" is not possible unless the rubber just evaporated away without me touching it at all.
I wonder if my wax coat contributed to this?

I've always just my paint sealer. Place a dab on a micro fiber cloth and the rubber marks come right off...area is also treated with sealer in the process. Just wash the entire car first then hit all the rubber marks with the above process.

Race Car
If you haven't used Mothers R3 and are using any other product, you have no idea what you are missing out on. It is EASILY the best product on the market for removing tire rubber marks. Period. I can't overstate how good R3 is.

For those suggesting washing the car AFTER I disagree. The car should be washed BEFORE to remove any loose dirt so that when you wipe after applying the R3 you are not moving dirt around and marring the paint in the process.
so the process appears to be:
1) wash car and dry
2) treat with R3
3) reapply any sealants and/or wax over the areas that you treated with R3

When I looked into rubber removal products, I noticed R3 was the popular one everyone purchased but I went with Nanolex Race Film remover and it works great.
My procedure is to first wash the car to remove debris, rinse, find rubber marks and remove using Nanolex, then do final rinse to remove any Nanolex residue.
Like someone else said, no need to let it sit for 30 seconds, just spray and wipe and it comes right off.
