Where to get Simpson Hybrid S at discounted price?

Would like to read your review once you have had a chance to use it on the track. Interested in purchasing one when I'm ready to track my car again.

I got mine from Apex shortly after they came out. I guess it's been at least a year. Make sure you work with Linda on sizing; she will guide you to the best decision.
The unit is comfortable; I do not notice it while driving, nor instructing.
Your safety is worth it.

I used the Simpson Hybrid S for the first time this weekend. I find that it’s very comfortable to wear, and have no complaints at all about how it feels on the body. But as many of you know, the little fasteners/guides that keep the top tether in place can scratch your seats, so I had to put double sided tape and a little rubber sheet (very small) that I got from Michaels, simply to keep it from scratching the seats. Here’s the main problem with the Hybrid and nice leather stock seats. With the Hybrid on, since I’m not wanting to damage the seat by pressing the fasteners or carbon fiber bits too hard into the seat, I wasn’t really leaning back all that hard during turns, and using the back of the seat for lateral support, which meant I slid around in the seat a little more than normal. I can tell in my video below that I slide a little. It’s not that visible, but I remember that. There wasnt as much friction/bracing with my upper back and my shoulders in the stock seats because I have that thin layer of carbon fiber between my clothes and the seats now. Anyways, that my report. Here’s a photo without the rubber covering the fasteners. It’s also before I adjusted it for proper fit.

Can you post your video?

I'd suggest calling them directly, Pam Diggs was very helpful and responsive.
I did so and was able to get a custom fitted unit (they do this gratis for female clients) and I was able to request a discount.

I got mine from discovery parts. For those in Atlanta area, they have store at AMP and are usually at Road Atlanta in a portable vendor truck. They give most clubs 10% off. Gave me 10% off for PCA or Chin membership. I have loved Simpson Hybrid. Good choice

Yeah, sorry about that. You can see towards the end that I had to reposition myself in the seat because I was sliding a little. In retrospect, I should have tightened the adjustable bolsters on the seat. Didn’t think about it at the time.

Alright, so I've had some priorities shift in my life, and HPDEs are no longer in the near future. So I'm looking to get rid of the Hybrid. It was only used once, and is still in mint condition. Size Small, which fits 36"-40" chest. I'm asking $875 shipped, and that will include an unopened set of HANS anchors for the helmet. Email me at cadossantos@gmail.com if you're interested. I can send you photos of the device and receipt.
