Watch some vids, per those yes 12 can be taken pretty much flat. My safety mechanism are kicking in.... will take more than once at RA to get beyond them As you know Forza and doing it for real are way different.

Would you mind sharing what kind of time the SR3 is doing at RA?
I have considered moving from my FM to an SR3. My best at RA is 1:29 with the few days I've been there.

Coochas I am slow.... the fastest vid I have found is here. A 1:26.8
Tyson does not have the car anymore. So no data. My times suck.. 1:35 as I am driving the same times as my sold 991 gt3rs. I guess I am doing some work giving up 300hp for same lap time. I guessed on gearing and what I have is very tall, car is struggling to hit 128 on back straight where others in SR3 are about 138. I hope regearing will get me into low 1:30s then it’s more ***** time.

I think you'll be in low 1:30's pretty quickly as you get comfortable with new car and trust the aero in 12 and 1.

I'll be at RA with DMTD April 24-25 driving my FM.

Could be. My turn 7 apex speed was about same as Tyson at 50-51 but I am sure he is one throttle much sooner. I cannot see a full 10+ mph diff tho. but in RS I was hitting 152-155. Anyway thanks for the encouragement. It’s a journey for sure

Hugh, the top speed in the SR3 is greatly affected by how much downforce is dialed into the rear wing. On some tracks with long straights I will dial down the downforce on the back and sometimes even remove one or both pairs of front dive planes. It is a balance between being faster in the turns or faster top speed. Since you are still getting familiar with the car I would leave the downforce high, and then slowly reduce it one hole at a time to see how things change. When you get the downforce quite low the car gets a little tail happy.

Hugh, I usually frown on data comparisons for the sake of comparing one variable to another. Yes, it can show you where that driver is stronger than you are, but good data looks the same. Each track and skill execution has an optimal trace shape that is similar car to car. The values may be different, but the shape should be similar. We should talk sometime.
