Has anyone determined when (or if, for 2018) F1 TV is actually going to be available? Considering F1 said they expect F1 TV to be a "$500M revenue stream", information about how they will actually deploy the service is rather lacking.

Im failing to see where its even possible to watch races, ESPN is covering but frankly not finding a good source to stream with no cable.

F1 TV is clearly not happening before the weekend.

can you get YouTube TV in your area? You can get a 30 day trial and they have a Cloud DVR included
otherwise check Hulu TV, Sling TV or DirecTV

Just an FYI, ESPN2 is carrying qualifying and the race. I didn't see Friday practice listed on the mothership or ESPN2. They may be carrying practice on one of their lower channels (ESPN3 etc.)

I hope the DVR can keep track of all these different channels.

Zero chance, especially since ESPN3 is the streaming service. Gonna have to work for it this year, although NBC did occasionally throw some stuff on CNBC. The real test will be when live college wrestling airing from 12:30-1:00 a.m. ET goes long...

That's pretty much what NBC did - they streamed practice one and two and only broadcast the rest.

Supposedly ESPN paid some bucks for the TV rights to F1 so I hope they aren't stupid enough to bump coverage for college wrestling!

I've had my Xfinity DVR set to record all "formula one" for a few years.
The DVR has automatically set itself to record the FP3 and qualifying/races.

So ESPN3 is a streaming service? Is it free if you have ESPN 1 and 2?
