PCA DE at Mont Treblant July 4-6; staying after for the Blues fest.
Looking for hotel recommendations convenient to both track and town.

I stayed in the village at the Westin. Brought wife and kids. They LOVED it. Probably the only track they've ever wanted to go back too.

Default Mt Tremblant

We did the track and the blues fest last year and the Westin was our choice. Worked out very well

Fairmont is also great - can't beat pool/jacuzzi after track

Village is cool. Stayed at Homewood Suites for years for this event. Good and reasonable, just request a room facing the Fairmont for quiet.

Stayed at Fairmont last season for this DE, Great location close to track, and Blues fest right outside your door.
Will be booking Fairmont again this season as well.

Also try VRBO.com and Airbnb if you're interested in more space. Just returned from skiing there for second year in a row and stayed in great condo (with pool and hot tub). We drove to the track, which was completely covered in snow.

Looking forward to driving the track this summer.

Absolutely beautiful location.

If you decide to stay in the resort village, there is an extra resort tax you will pay on the hotel bill, etc., Many prefer to stay in the village, check with RSR website to see who they are aligned with for club discount. For a number of years, I have stayed at Chateau Beauvallon on Montee Ryan. it is about 10 mins from the track, super nice suites, killer scotch selection, outdoor/indoor pool, outdoor jacuzzi and one of the better steak/sushi restaurants in the area......there are plenty of good choices, GL

Hotel Quintasessence. Take your wife and make it a romantic getaway. Fire place, huge soaker tub, restaurant, spa... mine loved it! Minutes to the track from the mountain village.

You want to go on the Rennsport PCA website , it has a list of all the good hotels and usually we get a discount code to use in certain selected hotels for the DE days ... basically you want to stay in the village
where you have indoor parking for your vehicles and are at a five minute walking distance from the village.
Keep in mind , there is NO parking whatsoever in the village ...
Fairmont and l"Ermitage du Lac are a good choice and are located two minutes from the village entrance

+1 to Wildcat's comments. Links to the special hotel rates for PCA days are not out yet. Keep checking at http://www.rennsport.ca/ (just noticed your dates are with NER I believe. They will also have specials on their website for their track days)
All the hotels (from 3* to 5*) with one exception are fine. DON'T book at Tour des Voyageurs. Everyone has a bad story at that hotel.

I'll be doing the Tremblant event. I believe it is an NER/NNJR joint event (I think. Just like last year).
Who else is going?

Emitage du Lac or Sommet des Neiges are decent in the Intrawest village (try to get a discount code).

As Scott suggested, I think Chateau Beauvallon is nicer - less Disney. Outdoor parking here.

Fairmount is more $ (and not 100% at Fairmount standards). Quintessence is nicest, and definitely more $$$.

But with your currency, your getting 25% off, so that more than offsets the high taxes.

I'd book soon - that's a crazy busy time in Tremblant in part due to the Blues Fest.

Cheers

Matt

On the way back thru Montreal be sure to stop by Le Penthouse for a relaxing massage. And then some ribs at Baton Rouge.
