Just booked a King Suite at Le Westin Tremblant (In Disney).
Bringing the wife to this one so went with the suite.
Her happiness is as important to me (almost) as the actual DE is.
Checking in Weds, checking out Sunday. Free cancellation up to 7/2 (3 days before 1st track day).
Now I just have to figure out a way to tell her about the other 45 track days I plan on doing this season....

The bug, yes. It's getting pretty bad.
And cabin fever today as well.
Just took the SUV to the HD parking lot on 17N to do donuts with my kids. Saw 2 snowplows come into the lot so we stopped and drove home.
Roads not great. HD parking lot, perfect!!
Snowing like crazy, but I guess you know that considering we live about a mile apart.
Yes, 45 days at least. I am sort of semi retired at this point.

I'm kind of a bummed out about the date change. I'd thought driving 4th of Jul would be zero traffic and we would've had the whole sunday to drive back - but I guess people do want to enjoy their 4th of Julys not driving for 7 hours. Understandable.

Hi @@erko1905 and all,

Yes - sorry about the date change, but originally Sunday wasn't available when I first scheduled it, so I went with the Thurs/Fri/Sat dates originally, as the track really went out of their way to be sure our event landed during the festival. When I announced the original dates, I did get quite a bit of private e-mail about travel on the Fourth of July, and it wasn't all that "inspiring", to say the least...

The background is that when the track called first thing in the AM this past Thursday AM asking me if I wanted Fri/Sat/Sun - I jumped on it given the initial round of e-mail and that it would overlap the Festival for all 3 days. Stan sent out an e-mail blast only minutes later and after I chatted with Janice (NNJR Track Chair).

Anyway - I really apologize that if the one day date change inconvenienced anyone - as that wasn't my intent of course. So, sorry about that!

See you folks at LCMT - and my thanks for your understanding and support - and again, my apologies if this disrupted anyone's prior plans!

Hi John,

No worries - It makes sense that the popular opinion would be for the Fri-Sun.

Thank you very much for organizing an event at this phenomenal location.

NER has a discounted rate at the Fairmont; still not cheap, but good hotel and location

But you can be the only clean car at the event if you play it well at Quintasessance

As I booked my hotel from this thread (Thank you!!) a few days ago - I wanted to be sure that you folks in this thread knew that you, please, need to get registered if you are not already...

I have narrowed down our choices to the Fairmont or Westin.
My wife will want to hang out at the hotel/town during the day while I am at the track with the truck.
I see the Fairmont is a bit remote from the town, so is the Westin actually preferable given my wife being there.
The Westin also appears to have more amenities.

Both are in the pedestrian village which is where you want to be. There isn’t much in the actual village. Either is a good choice. Just steps from each other.
