Barcelona GP ticket advice

I'm going in May to my first GP but having never been I have no idea what tickets are best (sub - 1000€) and hopefully someone has some input? it would be either Sat-Sun or Sunday only, which eliminates Paddock Club at 3500€+ and VIP Gold at 1575€. Is VIP Silver (819€ for Sunday only) worth it? Any Grandstands better than others?

Why don't you invest the $3500 towards a flight and race car rental for the race at the Glen in June? Just saying........

Been there done that (and $3500 would be the down payment on that gig!) , and where did you get i'm gonna spend $3500 anyway, doing math in Italian again?

Gary, try the track car rental at the Barcelona GP track. You can try a few laps in many different cool cars. They even have a race-prepped 986 Boxster

— much better even than the 458 Italia which felt like a pig in comparison. The track is awesome!

Thanks bud! Barcelona is only a 2 hour train ride from my home so easy to get to, I'll look into the track rentals! There is also a MotoGP track about a 20 minute ride here in Valencia I want to check out. In Thailand until March but I'll email you some photos when I get home, it will be Fallas Festival time and CRAZY in the streets then!!
