Brave, the driver compares this climb to a circuit, but lots more risk if you get it wrong!

So Sean are you gonna do Know Mountain in the Radical ?

In a more practical vein any chance are you going to setup a HPDE day at Area 27.

Thanks Jim,
Wow! Exactly. I had given a few minutes of thought to doing the Knox Mt Hill Climb, but maybe not so much anymore....
There is always risk, it's just higher outside of a circuit.
I hear that there is talk of both racing, and a potential PCA DE event this summer at area 27.
I joined the track, and it is fantastic. It is challenging. I have posted some onboard footage on my youtube page.

Sean,
A race would be very cool. Area 27 looks like it would be a lot of fun. Any idea which club would be organizing the race? Seems SCCBC is reluctant as they own Mission. Also CACC is somewhat dominated by SCCBC so sanctioning Area 27 seems be dragging on.

I'm running a vintage Formula Ford for racing. I sold my '04 GT3, got the wife a Boxster and me a race car If you do a HPDE I'd plod around in the Boxster.

I'm not involved in either discussion at this point. Re racing at Area 27, could but could be ICSCC or SCCA.

Re HPDE at Area 27,BCIR region can't support an HPDE (small region), but I believe that the lower mainland PCA has had some discussion re HPDE, and we would participate jointly.
Stay tuned....

Sean,
You might want to check with the Seattle region as well. I ran with them in '15 at the Ridge. They have a good group of instructors and overall seemed well organized.
