Interesting! Is this a good solution for HPDE days with an instructor in the car? i.e. can a driver and passenger speak to one another? What is the Mototrola connection you are referring to?

Please advise.

Thanks,
Adam

This is the best student/driver intercom money can buy. You can use IMSA plugs for your helmet microphone and ear buds.

He is referring to a radio, which is not required.

Thank you for chiming in! Yes, this is typically used for driver/instructor communications. You plug your helmet mounted speakers/mic into the unit via the IMSA plugs and can talk to your instructor through his helmet mounted speakers/mic. The IMSA plug is very commonly used and majority of instructors should have one. It can be used for communicating with pit crew if you have a motorola base radio and a PTT button. You can get alternate harnesses if you have a base radio other then the motorola.
