Their foray into drones did not go well... they should've made a deal with DJI years ago, but that's woulda coulda shoulda...
Too many knock-offs on Amazon for less money. GoPro is too $$$ to stay competitive. I remember the days when GoPro was THE camera for newbies on track. Unfortunately it didn't really catch on as the seasoned veterans and racers had other options that integrated better with DL.
I found it interesting that the founder (Nick Woodman) was featured on the Shark Tank multiple times in the past few years. Wonder if that'll continue now....

dumbest stock i ever bought. and i had a couple of the very first cameras..........prototypes! what did Gordon Geko say? never get emotional about a stock.

I thought this said GOP sells out and it was a political thread in the wrong place.
I had two goPros and was only marginally ever happy with them. They ate up batteries at an enormous and my last one, which had a remote, would only occasionally recognize the remote.
It sits on my shelf doing nothing.

True, but that used to be worth BILLIONS. Personally, I'd have a difficult time coping with the fact that I'm now worth much less than 10% of what it was a few years ago. Like Peter said, he should've cashed out a while ago...
