NT01 tread left, are they still good to go?

Am I worry too much on my rear tires? They actually already did 5 days on track, probably ran 12+ 30 minutes section. And put 4000 miles on street, left right flipped and running -2.5 camber with 0 toe.

I am going to another 3 days on track very soon, the journey drive along from home and return around 300 miles. Are they good enough to hold on as I seen many of you guys used until without any tread left at all.

Thanks guys.https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...ba02654cc0.jpg

They are good to go to the cords. Looks like you have plenty of life left.

superboyg 12-27-2017 07:58 AM

I just worry they are going to the cords soon and not enough make my way back home lol

Really lol, some others looked at my tires and asked why dont I replace them haha

They are just coming into their prime now. NT-01 gets really good when you can only see the 2 groves around the tire remaining. I think at that point they still have 2/32 of rubber left on the tire but obviously if rain driving is a possibility it's a balance of what's safe vs. what's fastest.

They are just getting good -- lighter in weight as some of the tread is gone and you can now also get some nice slip angle going through the turns. You'll be smokin' with those

Sounds interesting, honestly this is my first set of NT01 and looking fwd to how sticky could be when the treads are gone :P

that's about where we used to get shaved toyos for WC. that's optimal if the rubber isnt old or heat cycled out.
and dont worry about driving home on cords...... its not like you are driving 1000miles or something, so no worries, have fun!

Thanks guys, the dudes around me all doubt how come I still bringing them to track again, so I have much more confidence regarding to u experts comments.

Spyerx 12-28-2017 02:22 AM

5 days on them? Drive harder!

superboyg 12-28-2017 02:40 AM

Actually the front pair gone pretty much without too much left, the rear seems to be staying longer since the track contains more slow and deep turn...
