Yes, but he's not working out along side. He is analyzing your Fitbit and other smart device data.

OK - I'm REALLY getting excited about this.... I suppose I could tag this: NER Vintage Day with Vintage Prices

First - as we discussed - we are trying to have each driver have AT LEAST 2.5 hours of Track Time each day + Classroom. As well, early sign-ups for a full day are... Ready? Are you sure? $200 per driver/car. Yep - $200... OK, here is the schedule:

May 28th Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park, Thompson CT (this day immediately follows our 25/26/27 days, which gives us some added flexibility in getting folks ready the afternoon of the 27th if needed!)

June 16th - Palmer Motorsports Park, Palmer, MA. If the Vintage DE Series looks to be popular, we could expand this event to a multi-day event, so. we'll see....

August 24th - Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park, Thompson CT.

September 14th - Palmer Motorsports Park, Palmer, MA.. We have the option, again - to swing this into a multi-day as well..

I also just wanted to say "Thank You" to all of you who have pushed for events like Vintage Days... I'm pretty certain I'll be posting more information shortly - like registration opening, places to stay if you haven't been to these tracks, Classroom sessions, etc....

Best to all for a terrific weekend!

It is a great idea. And of course PCA Club Racing has introduced vintage races for the same reason, though neither RMR nor AMR out here have adopted this yet. That said, those of us who are race-trained can post lap times in our old school, super-light racecars not so far off those of the typical DE driver in a GT3.

John,

Sounds great!. I'll be up for May and June possibly September. It's a long tow from NC so hope we get enough participation for two days at Palmer. August is out since it conflicts with Monterey Motorsports Reunion.

Thank you very much for all the work you have done in arranging this.

Sounds great! Since I share "Sal's" car, can we both come play? It wouldn't be fair for her to have all the fun, since I keep it kind of clean. I assume it would be in the Vintage Race group, even though it's registered as an Antique in Maine.

Stan,

Just signed up! Excited that this is going to happen - hope you get large turnout.

I'll also sign up for the regular DE on Saturday and Sunday when it opens 3/1.

Jim,

You have the (dubious?) honor of being the first driver to sign up for one of NER's Vintage DE events! I hope you have a ton of fun. You should have a confirmation email in your inbox. A favor, if you don't mind. Please read that longish confirmation email and let me know if you see anything that doesn't sound right (a reply to that email should get to me as registrar).

Thanks!
Stan

Events were excellent. I participated in all of 'em. I believe the plan is to repeat them next year.
