You bet, In fact - here are the requirements - which are pretty simple....
- If your vintage car meets the PCA DE minimum requirements for running on the track for Driver Education (roll over protection for convertibles/soft-tops, no open wheel, etc.); and
- If I can classify it with HP/Weight/Year; then...
You would be absolutely welcome with ANY Vintage car that qualifies! I tried to figure out how to include all eligible vintage cars, but - no one would want to read 40 pages of non-Pcar vehicle listings on Rennlist ....
So, absolutely - if your Alfa meets these specs - you would be more than welcome! If folks have any questions as to whether their vintage car might be included - just PM me with the vehicle specs (as a few others have and I've given them a big Thumbs Up )!
My thanks for the post, as it is what the intent of this event is all about..!

An intriguing idea, I look forward to more details and dates.
Have seen a need / opportunity for such an advance run group. We have 6 run groups at Indy DE an have discussed a similar run group model for vintage Porsche pre ‘98/350hp-ish Advanced drivers (expanded passing). Snapping the line is tricky, but as a 993 drover, I like where you snapped it
An alternative to historic/vintage race series, its time may have come. Good luck!

It was in 1980 that I took my Rx7 to Loudon when it was called Bryar for my first track day with COM.
I am now in possession of a 1979 Rx-7 that I have been getting more and more street reliable. I think it could be pretty cool for me to return to the track with it even if I'm in more of a parade mode with it!
Then again my '72 240Z is probably ready to go to the track right now!

Hmm, Back in the not quite vintage era of the early 2000s when everybody and their brother seemed to get a new GT3 for Christmas, they pretty much defined rooling chicane. Since you've put so much time and effort into your program this year I'm going to have to try to make it up there but do I come for one of these Vintage Race groups or try for special instructor status. Decisions decisions...

This is a great idea - I'll definitely join with my vintage car.

Hi Sionnach,
Not quite yet - but I hope to post them shortly! As this is a new and additional venue to our existing Driver Education Program, I'm trying to be mindful about both dates and costs, as I don't want it to interfere with adjacent regions events (nor ours! )
Anyway - my thanks and I'll post back here as the schedule is published - but, I look forward to seeing you there!
My best,
John D.

john will these days be listed and identified as vintage on the reg sites, whichever one you use... ie motorsport reg or the other one..?
that would help distinguishing these from the regular DE dates
