I'm'a go ahead and eat like the longest lived people in the longest lived towns on earth. Just a hunch, but they might be onto something besides just genetics...

Hf1,

I didn’t answer my own question and neither did you. The editorial you wanted us to read supports the Mediterranean diet, not your all meat high fat diet. There’s an old adage, “You are what you eat”, or in your case “garbage in, garbage out”.

You seem to have issues with reading comprehension. A lifetime of insufficient fat and cholesterol can do that to an old brain.

I’m not on FB but for those who are and are interested to learn more, I’ve heard good things about the World Carnivore Tribe:

Can't help but note that billions of Asians have eaten rice and veggies as staples for centuries and seem to have done OK.....and yes, I too caved and had a salad last night.

May God have mercy on my soul

but my cheeseburger had lettuce, tomato and onion, so I’m confused....will I now die or lose weight?

Hey Matt, your thread has taken on epic proportions along the lines of "War and Peace" or "Eat This, Not That!"

Right? I'm worn out keeping up and had to eat a banana and apple to keep up. Though the Florida sun has me sweating it out. Coffee and water keeps me hydrated.

Please don't fret about the sun--we had a half-inch of ice in Buffalo last night I'd kill for some sun and heat right about now as it's a balmy 33 deg .

Hope it all clears for the trip to Mid-O Thursday
