Default PWC TCA

Any folks running this?

Would be curious about quality of competition and cost to run

Just saw subaru is going to do contingency and if anything like it used to be in rally could be financially helpful

What's your level of interest? Do you want to rent a car and crew, buy a built car, or build your own car?
The last few years it seems like if you don't have a Miata you're mid pack.

I crewed for a guy who ran a TCA Civic for a several years, but he didn't run last year. I'm not sure what it's like since USAC took over running the show.
He might sell you his Civic, or rent it either race to race or for the series.

I can put you in touch with him if you're interested.

Right now it's exploratory - want to see what Subaru puts up for contingency - have to figure out if it could stay on pace with a Miata

Plan would be to try to haul with a NorCal team going anyway on a backhaul rate and then hire one or two guys to help me versus some expensive pro team thing

I spoke with Kevin Anderson from Tech Sport Racing recently about the cost of an arrive and drive for a 1 off PWC TCA Race weekend. They were the only team I think running the brz/frs platform last season and they were very fast! They have seats/cars available and do builds. http://techsportracing.com/

i also have some of winding road racing’s info. PM me if you have any questions or want me to share contact info with you from either

I have run with TechSport on a couple one off events in TCA once in 2016 and once in 2017. Great team. Highly recommend. The competition on TCA is very good and should be even better this year. The FRS was unstoppable the last couple races of last year. Good luck.
