Too funny! Surprised the Speedsport Tuning mechanics have not put something like that in my car.

We should all appreciate what hard workers most mechanics are. Two years ago when I blew my engine at Daytona my guys sourced a replacement engine and replaced it overnight. Amazing effort. I wish I could say the same about the engine I got from Vertex out of Miami (more about that coming soon) but that purchase was my call.

A round of applause for all the mechanics who put up with our $hit!

Back years ago on a '70 Camaro drag car I had, I had a custom shop paint on the back of the snorkel hood scoop: $$ THINK $$

Makes me wonder is any NASA vehicles have the astronaut's prayer engraved on the dash...

Sometimes a picture is worth....

A self portrait sticker that my youngest made a number of years ago. I often glance at it if I'm contemplating something stupid.

I'm surprised Speedsport hasn't put "GFY" decals on both of our dashes! That's how you show love.

I blame a lot of my driving limitations on the fact that I generally wrench on my own sh*t -- so I always have a little guy in my head yelling at me to 'Don't be stupid!", "That corner is going to cost you how many weekends....",

So if you see me flicking off the mirror -- it's its not at you :-)

Ha! I've always wondered if the non-wrenchers have an advantage. I don't like new sounds, new vibrations, and it always takes a weekend or two to trust something I have fixed/upgraded. Invariably, almost every funny noise I investigate is nothing, and that can lead to complacency which ensures the next funny noise or vibration is something significant. Ignorance can be bliss or the gateway to hell.
