Back of the track is dark - and it's amazing how many references you don't pick up at night. Great experience - but know the back side of the course get's REAL dark - basically 13-17 you have enough speed to outrun the stock headlights.

No lightbar - but I did put the highest wattage bulbs (and relay) I could find in the H4's

Any tips or tricks for Sebring? I’ve been running through the track to get familiar with it as much as possible.

Awesome! DEs are very addicting and incredibly fun. Can't really comment on tips for Sebring yet - will be my first time as well. What I've gathered is braking must be very soft / smooth before a few turns on the track given the bumpy nature of some of the pavement (i.e. Turn 17). Almost all of the track is taken flat in most cars. I've watched a few Jim Pace videos to familiarize myself with the track:

I installed full 100w HIDs in our '78 Targa for night racing. The light bars were still not as bright. When that car came around 17 in the dark you always knew who it was.

Thanks to everyone that came out to the event! Great time had by all, and the event went off without a hitch. Personally, it was my first time on Sebring as well. WHAT A TRACK! Ended up running a 2:28 in my Cayman R, lots of time left on the table. Looking forward to seeing you guys out there next event!

2:28 in a Cayman R at Sebring is very good. Additional kudos being it was your first time there. I don’t think you left “lots of time on the table”.

Why thank you Mark, I appreciate that : ) Although rather neutral in the higher speed corners, in the lower/middle speed corners the car had a terrible front end push (stock suspension and alignment) that was very difficult to drive around. I'm confident that with some control arms and a proper alignment to eliminate that push, and a bit more seat time on that track, will net 2:25s/2:26s without too much issue. Throw some Hoosiers into the fray and who knows...we'll see how far I can push my wife's sanity this season with some upgrades lol
