I was really surprised that bottas couldn't close the gap especially when the RB team was doing their best to slow down Max to keep the engine alive...
If I would have been in Toto's spot I would have made the call for Bottas to back off and let Max drive in peace.
Interesting theory and sounds plausible

How about the Renault retirement where they told him to not ground the car when he left? 600 Volts!

Do you think they warned the corner workers?

I liked Vettel's comment after he asked how far he was behind Kimi and Bottas. He responded with "Mama Mia...", knowing that there was no way he could get back to second and knew the championship was over.

I'm sure Vettel won't be sending Massa a Christmas card this year after the way he drove him off the track. Not that it would have changed the outcome of the race.

Poor Max. He wins and all the attention goes to Hamster. I think the Mercs were worried about their brakes, which is why they weren't able to fight very hard and had trouble overtaking.

Did Ocon make it out of Mexico alive?

You have to wonder what the season would've looked like without all the stupid non-racing penalities...

Too bad Hartley's engine let him down. He looked set to earn points. Hope he gets picked up next season.

Max is driver champion in waiting. Pity for Danny Ric who is virtually as good but just older. If the RB's had a decent motor the Championship would have been a really interesting season. Good on Hartley as well.
