Someone did some drifting in NASA NorCal hpde 4 advanced group at Sears on the 1st session. There's a download session after each session. Chief instructor called out number of car and said "drifting is not tolerated and prohibited" but he did mention "by the way great car control skills". It's analogous to you hit a nice golf ball off the tee past the front foursome and for sure mentions "you're ball almost hit us but nice drive". Mike

i think its more analogous to tossing the ball up and hitting it like you would a baseball , rolling short of the 4-some.
