Default Wheel size for DE events

What do you all recommend for best wheel size for a 997.1 turbo for DE type events? I have a set of Champion Motorsport 19" wheels that I'm going to dedicate for daily driving, so whatever new wheel size I get will be for track use only. With the turbo, 19's are stock, but it seems like I'd have a lot more tire options with hoosiers, slicks, (or others) by switching to an 18" wheel. I do a fair amount of drag strip events also so it's not out of the question to put a set of slicks on the car. Recommendations? Thank you!

I ran a 997.1 Turbo for a few years at the track. I did an 18" and since it was before I had a trailer, I used the MPSC tires which had plenty of grip but also allowed me to drive to-and-fro the track (had to be careful in the wet though). Beyond that I did a few suspension mods from GMG: springs, sways, dog bones and control arm bushings. I also did fluid and pads but ran OEM rotors. Car was fun. Not a scalpel, more like a hammer.
