Delaware PCA DE - NJMP 9/29-10/1 – Advanced Fri, All groups Sat/Sun
The Delaware Region PCA will be holding its 10th annual 3 day event at Thunderbolt Raceway, New Jersey Motorsports Park.
Friday is an instructor/solo day: every one gets 3.5-4 hours of track time.
Sat & Sun is open to all. All marques are welcome.
Brandywine Motorwerks will be sponsoring our event again with their legendary Happy Hour (Fri & Sat) and 10 year Anniversary T-shirts for all!

Being the event registrar, I *might* be a tad bit biased, but I think we, the region, put on one of the nicest track events in the NorthEast. Our mantra is "Be Safe, Have Fun, Learn Stuff" and we try to excel at all those things. But objectively it seems to be true as we get a huge percentage of returning attendees each year. We only have the one DE each year, so we put all our attention and passion into making this event great.
Like Mark said, if you are advanced driver, Friday is your day. We run 2 run groups and rotate them every 30 mins all day long. It's the rare individual who does every session, but you can.
For novices, we have an excellent instructor corps. Our region may be small, but we have lots of track enthusiasts who give back to the community by stepping up and instructing. Plus tons of experienced instructors from regions all up & down the coast. Yeah you could go to a Skip Barber school, but with us you'll run your own car on the track with an instructor - who could be a Skip Barber instructor - in your passenger seat for a 1/3 of the cost. What a bargain!
New Jersey Motorsport Park is a wonderful facility and Thunderbolt is a challenging circuit to play on. The Jersey Devil turn complex in the back section has 187 different lines through it and only 1 (if that) is correct. See if you can master it.
The paddock is huge, we have event garages to rent, on-site food, shower facilities, camping and electricity is paid for by the region at no cost to you. The facility is family friendly with lots of grandstands for viewing and the top of the control tower with it's view of 80% of the track is open to all. We have charity laps at lunchtime on the weekend, so your family can take the grocery getter out on the same track and see what you're doing.

Learn Something (about driving, your car, yourself, it's all good)

A few spots open in all groups, especially advanced.
Friday, advanced only day, has just 54 so far. There will be plenty of open track!
