We have our last SCCA Laguna Seca Race this coming weekend and its a little light as far as sign ups. great opportunity to come out and fill up the grid with porsches. 103 db , 2 races and did i mention , "Laguna"?

i think there is a porsche group coming to fill one of the run groups, but in the open class groups there is still room for more.

practice and qualify on Friday , race 1 on Saturday at around 12pm.

Looks like we are being joined by the BMW club this weekend and USTC.... I might have to race in USTC too!

video from the race. WAY TOO HOT! 105 in the paddock! uggggg car couldnt handle it. had to back off after about half the race. some good racing while things were running well. someone spun in the gravel by the corkscrew and the car was pulled out. those rocks stuck in the tires and never really came out.
Question: do you have to pulll those rocks out, or do they come out as the tire wears. really hurt the grip.
never really cared before with used tires and they didnt seem to be as soft or the rocks embedded so deep. thanks,
