Looks like you’re getting things together and having a lot of fun!
In case you weren’t aware (and you probably were), in addition to the FIA rules and regulations, you can get the US organization club racing rules and other data from the organizations directly. PCA, NASA, and the SCCA are among the larger clubs, and there are many more (POC, BMWCCA). These might be useful references as your program and organization continue to develop. It’s usually much easier to copy a good rule than to make one from scratch.
FIA: https://www.fia.com/regulations
PCA: http://pcaclubracing.org/rules/
NASA: https://www.nasaproracing.com/rules
SCCA: https://www.scca.com/pages/cars-and-rules
I don’t know a good reference book for racetrack circuit design theory and safety but I suspect one of the members here could provide one.
Best of luck out there!

Just finished the first official Time Attack race yesterday.
It was a blast!
Thanks for the useful links regarding race regulations!
Here are a couple of photos from the event and lap video recording:

I don't think United will let me bring the car as "luggage" unfortunately!
Great to see!!!

I have family outside Tel Aviv, up north and in the south by Zeelim. I should be over in a few months. I'd love to coordinate it with an event and be able to discuss how the DE's are typically run at PCA events over here if you are interested.

This is super cool! Also interesting to see the 944 turbo being the tool of choice! The elevation changes in that one video are pretty cool (I learned and have tons of miles around sebring in my turbo, but no real elevation changes). Would be so cool to hook up for a DE weekend when I am in Tel Aviv for business purposes next time (will keep this thread in my memory bank for then).
