Wrong track. That's ok I know it's hard to keep track of all his lap records. Most of them can be attributed to his keen awareness of the passing rules and his own interpretation of them. 😜

Well at Summit we cal it the carousel but you aren't far off. You can't cut the whole thing but if you go from 5 to 8 it's much quicker but really really bumpy.

What's the passing rules if you take the streak 5-8 shortcut if the passed cars are out of class?

I knew it - guilty!

Send me your lap record video to verify that didn't happen....

<hoping my tactic to get the video prevails>

Depends. Is there overlap?

What makes this very messy is that I'm on a "straight" while they are in a series of corners.

As long as you hum the appropriate Dukes of Hazard music into your mic then you have the right of way.

Len, you should have time if you get moving. Contact the DE CI for any region who knows you. (I can think of one immediately...) You only need one recommendation. PM me if you want any help with the application.

Thanks Corey!, I've already spoken to Susan and have the Dr. appt. set up in two weeks. I know about this event because of Brian Walsh. He's been very helpful to me both in my driving and pushing me to get better, so I have him to blame (or is that thank) - anyway, I thought I needed two DE CI's. If its only one, i should be good! Just remember the X is NOT a target!!

Summit is a fun track. Come on down. We have nice trophies (for those griping on this forum) an awesome BBQ on Sat night and Friday I think too. All included. I think the premium this year is a nice folding chair too. What a deal.

And we have a great open track practice day available care of Summit Point management. That part is not PCA related. Sign up link for that is: http://msreg.com/PCA-09-21-2017

Hope to see everyone there. We need a few more Cup cars too. The Vintage is filling up nicely.

Stu

I need to stop being on vacation during this event. I'd love to come volunteer and see a race weekend in action.
