I have decent brakes on my car but I got seriously outbraked by the Lizard car into 10a at RA- around the outside no less. Ex-pro driving the black 4.2L Cup in the photo told me he had virtually the same thing happen. Those RSRs are potent.
The 2013 Manthey RSR in the same livery races in the POC. It will be at Laguna this weekend with some big mufflers attached at the rear to meet the 92 dB sound limit. Incredible cars.
I saw that car up close when it was at Cal Speedway. It was too, too gorgeous. Went like hell too. If my memory serves me, I think it's an R??

That FLM RSR i had for a while. took it once. you almost needed a couple of lab engineers to figure that thing out. the R was like 1 lab engineer. it was in the Core livery when i had it and the current owner did it up to the nines to get it back to FLM through and through.
that was back when the porsches could beat the corvettes and ferraris.
beasts of a machine, but almost overkill and a handful for club or HSR stuff. the R , if one has the loot to handle the running and crashing<G> costs, is a far more driveable car.
the technology in it was wild. it had the full PDM system which was awesome. you could setup stuff to power off or come on based on any nubmer of variable. my computer science degree from the 1980s was no match.
