Nitto NT01 tyre/tire query

Reporting back experience on a different track. The nittos are much better behaved on this surfacing. They still kick out at the rear a little but they snap back to traction under throttle quite well. Still a little too much tread squirm on the newer rears but a lot better. The fronts are near corded but still grip pretty well.
my take on these is they are very sensitive to surfacing and on my car at least and don't work as well on 2nd gear tight corners as other tyres do. I guess this is because they are a lot more sensitive to weight transfer

I run them on my e36 track car. Completely different experience from what happened to you..
maybe because
new track surface
not heat cycled enough
tire pressure
Alignment
kinda weird. I feel like the NT01 are glue..

I have been running NT01s on my 964 for three seasons now. Love em. Very sensitive to PSI, IMO. 30-32psi hot. Anything more and they get greasy. I drive them to and from the track without issue. Just got a tow vehicle and trailer, so no more of that. But, I do drive her to work/around town from time to time.

I gotta try lower pressure.

Haven't had any issues that were described by the OP; start ~ 24/25 cold and they are fine. Also switched out from years of MPSC use. I also started out with higher pressures. (Thanks Nader F.)
