You would be allowed to come in to spectate but the day is driven under full race rules so no rides unless you are a qualified instructor or racer and you have full teched race gear to wear.

I recommend going to a DE or coming during the race weekend. It will be fun.

Oh, ok. I was hoping the Sept 21 date might have more relaxed rules and this might be an opportunity for me to experience what it is like in a more aggressive environment than the Advanced Group.

I have been attending DEs since 2002.

Feel free to speak with any of the racers about the transition to wheel to wheel racing from DE. It's a very fun hobby but you need to really have your head on a swivel and try and anticipate what others are doing while still hopefully leaving yourself an escape route if need be.

Personally, I did quite a few Chump races first and also did many years of winter karting leagues in the DC area before the final jump to licensed race groups.

Also, just in case anyone is in need of some tires, I have some brand new Hoosier R7 tires in 245/40/18 fronts and 295/30/18's rear. They are already mounted on OEM 996.2 5-star OEM light weight wheels. I can bring them out to the event.
