I seem to recall there is 4 digit code to enter if the radio loses it's memory. The number should be in your manual somewhere.

Hes correct. If you can't locate the radio ID card in your owners manual send me over your VIN and I will get it for you

Nearly impossible to stall the car if you can control yourself not to push the gas pedal until the clutch pedal is out.

Guess I need to practice more.

You MUST be hitting the gas. I have a lot of miles over the years in three CGTs and it's hard to stall if you try. You can almost pop the clutch and not stall.

Practice your hills! Find one with no traffic behind you, so no pressure or worry.

are you feeling the auto-throttle kick in before it either stalls or you give it gas?

I mean...who knows...I'm letting out the clutch...slowly...some times it works other times it stalls.

I'm meeting up with a group of CGT owners this weekend or next...I'll ask around why I'm so retarded.

No reason to let it out slow - I think you are over thinking it

I don't agree with this at all. I have over 13k miles in my CGT and it is Very easy to stall if not careful (I just had my clutch measured during routine service and it's at 30mm) You have to be very precise with how you let out the clutch. knowing where the clutch engages is half the battle. As it engages you've got to really be precise because from initial engagement to full engagement is a very small amount of pedal travel. hope that makes sense.

If you're practicing, I would not try any inclines, stick to flat surfaces. I will say that it really is not more difficult on an incline because the auto throttle is working for you, but it's not any easier on your clutch especially if you're practicing. Don't give up, it will become second nature once you get used to it.

you can hear the ECU hunting for that bite point on the clutch and it will kick in to do what I call an "anti-stall" maneuver where the RPMS bounce a little bit. like E-Man said, you can practice this in a parking lot then eventually work up to it

Reminds me of when I taught myself to drive stick back in high school when I bought a 1980 RX7 and had to drive it home!

I'm not noticing the auto blip...I think you are right and i'm just over thinking it.

I'll play with it again this weekend.
