I remember some calculation somewhere where they thought 10-12 second for supersports.
But lets see what happens when they slap on some N-spec Cup2 tires on. Thats what all the cars with similar HP are running today.
I bet if we saw another go at it on track with those tires we could get awfully close to that 7min mark.....

The 918 had some very special tyres on it when it did 6.57"....they couldn't go past 280km/h on the main straight or they could have exploded! But the grip on the slower parts was phenomenal!! Not your average production tyre if you ask me...

So what speed should the 918 have reached on the main straight if they didn't have to worry about exploding tires?
