Yesterday, I received a copy of Kussmaul Chronicles, the story of Roland Kussmaul. Although I suspect that most of you know his name, many do not know what a profound effect Kussmal has had, of course upon Porsche Racing for decades, but also upon street cars (including the Cup Cars, the Carerra GT, the RSRs and the RS Spyder, among many others). And although Kussmaul "retired" several years ago, when I called him a few weeks ago, he was deep in the middle of LMP 1 practice for LeMans. If you have any interest in the history of Porsche, in particular of Porsche Racing, I would buy this book about this most remarkable and decent man.
