The following is an email exchange I had today with
Melissa Witek of 'Porsche Exclusive' at PCNA. This is
a set back to the program which was organized just
a few years ago by Sascha Glaeser, who came from
PAG Germany in 2011 to establish the presence of
that department in the United States.

Dear Melissa:

I heard today that you have accepted a position outside
of Porsche. I am very sorry we are losing you from your
valuable post at 'Porsche Exclusive' / PCNA. It is not like
they have many folks with your experience to take over
that key position!

I must tell you that I have truly appreciated the assistance
you have provided me in the past. And I know of the great
help you have given other North American customers because
many of these folks often communicate to me about your
assistance re: their builds in emails & private messages
I receive on a regular basis from them. So I can assure
you that you will be missed by all of us that have an interest
in customizing our Porsche factory orders & who had the
pleasure of working with you at 'Porsche Exclusive' over
the years!

Please also let me know if you have any objection if I post on
my Rennlist PTS threads about your upcoming departure from
PCNA. As always when I post re: sensitive personnel changes
at Porsche, it will be carefully worded & measured in its tone.
I would think many of your old Porsche customers at Rennlist
would like to have one last opportunity to send you their well
wishes.

Hi Eduardo,
Thank you for your kind words and support. It will be sad
to leave my Porsche family, but I am excited about the new
opportunity to learn and grow in my career.

Best wishes to you and your followers on the message board.
I don't have a problem with you posting anything about my
departure. I've already heard from a few that had received
a private note from you on this. Small world

Also, I have so many great clients that participate on Rennlist
so I might be checking in here and there to see their newly
delivered car photos

We expect Barbara Boeckenhoff, the General Manager of Porsche
Exclusive - Personal Design here in the United States, to fill that
position quickly. But Melissa had many years of working 'Porsche
Exclusive', so she had accumulated expertise which will be sorely
missed by her many North American customers. Needless to say,
we here at Rennlist wish Melissa our best wishes in her new job
and thank her for her past assistance with custom orders. And
some of you 918 owners will remember well that Melissa filled
in for Daniel Eastman as 918 Concierge when the latter left the
company, but before they hired David Donohue as his permanent
replacement. And she did a good job in that role too! Her last
day with PCNA is scheduled to be July 8th.
