Sapphire Blue 918 Delivery - 750 miles from Barber Motorsport to Chicago!
Hi there guys,
I was fortunate enough to join my father for the delivery of his Weissach 918 at Barber Motorsport Park. We then shared driving duty on the 750 mile trip from Birmingham to our home outside Chicago.
We had a fantastic time with David and Chelsea during the delivery.
Our drive was a bit more "eventful" with massive wind/rain/hail storms ripping through Indiana on our drive home. We had to take cover under viaducts 3 separate times to avoid any hail damage. Yikes!
In any event, please enjoy the photos below - they do not come close to doing the car justice!
You can check out more (and some GT3 photos...) on my Instagram: @Jbernbau
Thanks!

Gorgeous, what a great color...not that I'm biased or anything. I love how you and your dad actual drove enjoyed driving the car. Those were some awesome motion pictures too.
I even dig the license plate.
