Default S.F. valet carjacked, someone’s Porsche gone

Very unsure if SFGate got the type of P-car wrong or right, but the images and sub-head mention a Carrera GT. I hope that this does not belong to someone around here and they find it before it vanishes...

I doubt a Carjacker with a gun has the mental capacity to drive a CGT and get it moving. Manual cars are car theft deterrents in themselves these days. I would think a CGT and its clutch setup is even more so. Imagine having no clue first time in a CGT "driving like its hot." Not easy at all even for experienced drivers.

I hope they find the car, and put this guy away.

Obviously not cool for the guy who lost the car, but , speaking from the point of view of someone who was stopped for not one , but 3 traffic lights while everyone honks their horns and yells at you while trying to get going up a small hill, definitely a funny mental image of someone trying to take off in one and not being able to go anywhere

"Officer, can I really be prosecuted for stealing a car if I didn't get anywhere with it?"
