Default Wheels

I really don't like the stock 918 wheels at all. I also don't love the magnesium ones either and for the price that they are I really don't like them.

I have decided to store my original tires and stock wheels and put on a hre wheel with new original stock tires.

HRE 9.5 x 20" p101 monoblock 1 piece forged wheel satin charcoal center lock (55mm)

HRE 12.5 x 21" p101 monoblock 1 piece forged wheel satin charcoal center lock (55mm)

What do you guys think. Photo shopped obviously. With new tires about 1/3 of just the magnesium wheels. I also believe that these are slightly lighter than the magnesium wheels. It doesn't matter to me but thought I would add that as well.

Are these measures direct replacement to stock?

Love these, might get an extra set as well!

Normally prefer OEM - but those look sweet!

They look great. What's the pricing? I might do the same as you to keep the stock wheels safe. Magnesium isn't easy to repair if something unfortunate happens.

I think the magnesium OEM are the best choice but those HRE are very clean looking as a back up choice.

The offsets are slightly more aggressive than stock - just a few millimeters to have the wheels sit flush with the fenders.

Car like the 918 should stay stock, imo...

Thanks.

The cost with tires is about 1/3 of the magnesium wheels.

I really like the look and I also think as HRE Wheels said it might be a little more aggressive looking

Can you please give me the exact offset of stock and your wheels' one?

Thanks a lot
