Default My 918 Just Arrived

After much anticipation, the car is finally here. I haven't driven it yet. Still needs to go through the dealer inspection.

Here are a few amateur pics taken just after the car came off the transporter.

Pic 1. Some dorky guy (of wait, that's me) in the driver's seat.

Seems like this works as long as I only load one pic at a time.

One more for now. I should have some better pics later in the day and over the next week or so.

First thing to do is put trac wrap on the vulnerable areas so I can drive it a little before surrendering the car for all of next week for Moe to do the full clear bra.

Tomorrow I'm also taking it to Moe to have the windshield protection done before the SoCal Rennlist drive this weekend (see Rennlist 991 GT3 forum).

The back and forth should allow me to take care of the break-in miles per Whoopsy's German contact (which he may or may not want to reveal). That figure is 500km, which is way better than the 2,000 mi stated in the manual. The odds of me showing restraint for 2,000 miles are about as close to zero as you can get.

That's just gorgeous! I don't think I've seen one in white so far.
You're one lucky guy!
Enjoy it in good health!

The canyons will be lined up with people this weekend - everybody wants to see and hear this beauty in action. I usually do not notice anything around when driving (ever since getting married) but will be more aware of the surroundings from now on in the hope of seeing this special car on PCH or anywhere in SoCal. Enjoy in great health.

Looks great - I've had more white cars than any other color, but none of them have looked as good as that! Enjoy.
