I think this might be a Canepa, but not sure.

I think the color is Mahogany?

They should've waited 27 more minutes to take the first picture..

And the rally car unloading as it was designed to!

"Gellinde," which means terrain or offroad. It is the low/crawl/'granny' gear.

It is a reminder that the 959 was also designed as a capable offroad vehicle - a trait few if any cars exercise.

pretty sure I know that car. if it is the car that came from NY area a year or so ago, I think that interior was an aftermarket change.

i accidentally stumbled upon a 959 at EPE today (Massachusetts) while searching out some parts......

i believe the color to be Metallic Schwartz. but i'm not sure.

Jerry wasn't in the shop. i should have asked Bill or Matt.... in any case.

Those guys at EPE know what they are doing.... they always seem to have one or another 959 in the shop. I've never seen the same one there twice, so i guess they finish their work very fast!

So, regrettably, I have decided to sell my 959 photographed at the beginning of this thread by z356. If anyone has an interest, please pm me. Car currently has under 3,000 miles.

I actually recently sold mine as well, the car will deff be missed. After its time at Porsche Classic it was like a brand new car, and the Stage 2 it had was awesome.

Ak3249: If you don't mind my asking, does the stage II upgrade make the car complaint with CA emissions? Also, what method did you choose to market the car?

I was under the impression that no 959's are California compliant, but I'm not too familiar with California EPA laws. However I do know that with the Stage 2 it is legal in the rest of the United States under the 25 year importation law.

I personally had the car abroad, and used a broker there I'm friends with to privately sell the car.

What's involved with stage II, is it still available to purchase?

I know it's available as I recently had mine installed at Porsche Classic, but I don't know if you could just buy the parts alone (I don't see why not though). The stage 2 to put it in simple terms is Porsche installs smaller quicker spooling but more powerful turbos and remap the ECU. You usually gain 80-90HP.
