Wrong thread and wrong forum again, but since this is my thread I guess it's ok and no one will complaint either.

Factory delivery of my 911R today at Leipzig.

Damn, the pics ended up sideways. anyway, don't mind the wheels, they are the factory winter loaner set. I will be taking the car to visit Ferrari and Lamborghini Monday and Tuesday before heading back to Zuffenhausen on Thursday.

WOW! Incredible and unique.

Is that 911_R badge is a special color?

Also, it's not clear in the picture - does the door sill sticker
have a matte black stripe in it?

Yes, it's painted Speed Yellow to match the PCCB calipers

That's a beautiful spec - enjoy!

(You don't have a CGT in the garage yet, do you? If not... is one in your future?)

If anything, a 959 would come first before the CGT, actually there would be around 5 Porsche that I would get before the CGT.

Some here sort of know that a CGT isn't ranked too high on my must have list.

Nick: If you are halfway serious about wanting a 959, mine is for sale. 3,200 miles, 1987. Silver. Doug (notmelo).

Was it tough not to drive it all these years?.. or at least during your ownership period?

I actually don't mind the wheels all that much, aside from the rear offset. Porsche missed a perfect opportunity to make a throwback style wheel in my opinion for the R.
