Yesterday Leh Keen stopped by and drove my CGT. With TC off and all the fun we had, I almost forgot about the value of the car until he said "the CGT is 90% of an F1 for 1/25th the price".

Anyways we had a blast. I posted the video on IG and to see what the CGT capability in the hands of a pro driver is astounding. Highly recommend the experience before these cars become "too valuable" to drive, which I hope that day never comes.

Cheers,
Jonathan

Or CGT Viper and SV Roadster be careful what you wish for ...

My inbox has been full since the last time I considered selling CGT - to those who think demand isn't high.
I may have someone for the speciale. Thanks, Jonathan

^ hahaha
I know tis' a great car but my review of it is totally opposite from above

SICK engine.
but no sound. if you are driving it, even top down, I hear nothing. all my friends BEHIND me tells me how great it sounds at WOT or when I blip to downshift... but I hear nothing....
handling? this is one of the scariest car I have ever driven.. if you hit a deep dip or big bump at speed, EVEN going straight... get ready to catch and gather up the car when it lands.....

why I like it???

after a drive, I back it into the garage, close my eyes shut the engine down "whew.... I did not kill myself today... only soiled my pants.. it's a good day..." then I go on my merry way....

I agree completely. That's why I sold mine and now own a 918.

Funny, I don't find it scary at all at any time other than ice cold tires and if I stupidly hammer the throttle...I guess the race cars have trained me well for a car like this. It handles the way you'd expect a race car to handle...rewards proper inputs...dissuades stupidity.

Very accurate assessment on the sound. That's why I installed a set of GMG exhaust on my CGT. It's better than stock, but my 918 Spyder still sounds a lot better "inside the cockpit." Everybody else tells me how crazy my CGT sounds, except I can't enjoy it myself

I raced 996/997 cups for many years. CGT is not a stable car by any stretch of the imagination. you can catch it. but the chassis needs a lot more development. but as it, it's fun to dance with the devil.

If you're in NorCal you will have to ride with Mooty on "the loop"
There is a reason the car scares him, and terrifies those in the passenger seat.
This car moves around more than anything I've been in, it's VERY lively.

Hey Mooty - which tires do you have on your CGT? It seems I am not driving mine nearly hard enough... :-)
Best, w
