These pictures are from a 2005 black Carrera GT that was impounded in 2005 by the Brazilian import authorities due to irregular documentation, the car stayed in a bonded warehouse until last week, when it was auctioned.

It looks Carrara White to me. It's hard to tell from the poor quality pictures, and the protective wrape, but some of the body panels and bumper don't look like they line-up.

What was the auction strike price?

It's covered in white protection. Car is black and beautiful.
Tires, battery, fluids etc and hello 2005.

OK, I see that now. Maybe that's why the gaps and panels looked "off" to me. Thanks.

I don't think that pool noodles are part of Porsche official protection wrapping...

Porsche does indeed use that blue foam protection when shipping their vehicles.

That would be an amazing buy.

Needs some serious overhaul before it's ready to drive.
I suppose all fluids have been there since 2005... All gaskets should be replaced... etc...

But after that, it must be a collectors gem!

rubber_ducky 04-09-2012 05:21 PM

rijowysock 04-09-2012 11:37 PM
