Default Gulf Blue CGT?

Anyone have any info on this car? There are one or two in the US. Woodhouse in Omaha had one and there may have been another in Florida. I've been offered one previously, I'd be interested in exploring it now.

Anyone have any info?

Thanks.

Mckenna advertised the other one with black rims and interior 2-3 years ago.

here is the car in their showroom

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...arrera-gt.html

I remember their ad said only 2 in the world. The one with ascot was supposedly sold to a famous american actor/ porsche fanatic...

I thought you were looking at white ones...

Thanks. I spoke with the owner of the white one a few years back. He had lots of miles on it and wasn't interested in selling.

The car in the picture is the car that was sold by Woodhouse and went to Florida. That picture was taken at Lantana airport.

That looks lighter than Gulf Blue in the pictures. Interesting. Always fun to see rare colors on Porsches.

not Gulf Blue...

please make a note that it will now properly be referred to as McQueen's Blue.

not sure, but doesn't Porsche make only one for each model in McQueen's Blue each year

(and you get on a waiting list) ?

nice color for a dd.

A pair of socks is about all that will fit in there.

Car comes with this cool little sunglass bag. Or it's a leather condom. Not sure.

The little door there is for a umbrella. Strange I know but there you have it.

The purpose of the compartment in the door is to help maximize storage space in an otherwise small vehicle. From the Service Information Technik Introduction:
These compartments are provided with leather bags that can be closed, for storage of small tools.
And from the Product Information book:
In each of the doors, a leather sack (colour analogous to the luggage series) accommodates additional items.

There is no umbrella small enough to fit in this compartment.
